MINUS™ and other weight loss products
The weight loss market is awash with supplements that do not have a carefully designed approach. The majority of these focus on weight-loss from dehydration, and burning of lean tissue, rather than fat. The resultant weight loss from these supplements is counter-productive and unhealthy, as they weaken muscle and bone, making physical activity even harder for obese and overweight individuals. MINUS™ has no side-effects like dehydration, loss of muscle tone, and lack of energy. MINUS™ ensures that the energy requirements of the body are met through fat burning. MINUS™ also promotes lean muscle tissue. These factors encourage physical activity and exercise, which also contribute towards long-term healthy weight loss.
Unived’s MINUS™ focuses on the big picture. Ideal body weight goes beyond dropping a few kilos – it results from the combination of a balanced diet, regular exercise, and a healthy BMI. MINUS™ supports the body in attaining a healthy BMI by directly targeting fat production and lowering body fat content. MINUS™ also prevents overeating and promotes satiety, thereby encouraging long-term healthy eating habits and curbing emotional eating.
Unived’s MINUS™ is a standardised blend of efficacious and scientifically proven natural ingredients that support healthy weight loss, appetite control, and fat burning and reduction. It includes 500mg Green Coffee Bean extract and 500mg Garcinia cambogia.
MINUS™ is a holistic, natural, and safe way for healthy weight loss.
Adults may consume 2 capsules a day – 1 capsule 30 minutes before lunch, and 1 capsule 30 minutes before dinner or as directed by your physician or nutritionist. For optimum results, we recommend the use of MINUS™ as part of a holistic weight loss regimen, along with a balanced diet, and regular exercise.
What is Unived Minus™
Traditionally perceived only as affluent and first world conditions, obesity and overweight are now a growing concern for developing countries across the world. India is becoming an increasingly bloated nation, with nearly a fifth of our population falling under the ‘Obese’ category. India now has the third largest obese population in the world, after the US and China. Growing disposable incomes, a market saturated with cheap processed foods, sedentary hours spent at work desks, and the lack of physical activity are precipitating this national health crisis.
Obesity is clinically defined as having a BMI of more than 30, while an individual with a BMI between 25 and 30 is classified as ‘Overweight’. Obesity results when an individual’s caloric intake exceeds the amounts of calories they burn through metabolic processes and physical activity. In the modern world, chronic diseases like Type-2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, stroke and some forms of cancer are directly linked to obesity and being overweight. Obese and overweight individuals are also at a significantly higher risk of developing arthritis and lung disease.
Safe, natural and efficacious ingredients
The fruit of a species native to Asia has gained wide acceptance across the world as a natural supplement against obesity. The active component in Garcinia cambogia, Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) inhibits the conversion of carbohydrates to fat, instead promoting the conversion of carbohydrates to glycogen. This increase in glycogen storage in the liver sends a signal to the brain that satiety has been achieved, suppresses appetite, and prevents overeating- particularly overeating triggered by stress or anxiety which is commonly referred to as ’emotional eating’.
HCA inhibits the action of the enzyme ATP-citrate lyase which is integral to the process of the conversion of carbohydrates to fat, thus directly attacking fat synthesis and actively blocking fat production. HCA activates calorie burning through the process of thermogenesis, in which calories are burnt and released from the body in the form of heat energy, and stimulates fat burning by blocking a crucial enzyme required for fat synthesis.
Green Coffee Bean Extract
With the active ingredient, Chrologenic Acid (CGA) lowers fat accumulation in cells by limiting the release of glucose. CGA also reduces Insulin activity, resulting in a decrease in the level of glucose available in the blood stream. This scarcity of glucose leads to the burning of fat reserves as an alternative source of energy. The diminished levels of Insulin also results in fewer fatty deposits in the adipose tissue of the body.
Benefits of Unived MINUS™
Unlike other weight loss products which rely on counter-productive and short-term weight methods like dehydration and loss of muscle strength, MINUS™ is a way for holistic weight loss that achieves long-term results through safe, scientific, and natural ingredients.
Garcinia cambogia blocks excessive fat production, prevents fat storage in tissues, and promotes fat burning and calorie burning.
Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA), the active ingredient in Garcinia cambogia, helps to suppress appetite and achieve satiety.
Chlorogenic Acid (CGA) from the Green Coffee Bean extract limits the absorption of glucose into the small intestine, which subsequently lowers the accumulation of fatty deposits in cells.
When taken as a part of a dedicated weight-loss regimen of a balanced diet and regular exercise, MINUS™ supports safe and sustainable weight loss, and attaining a healthy BMI.
