Over the past 5 years I’ve been passionate about overall health and wellbeing, specifically ways to push my body to its limits. In doing so I stumbled into the world of Ultrarunning, and after a few years of competing, have found that I’m okay at it. Ultrarunning is a big part of my life, but I am also incredibly passionate about Plant-Based nutrition. I yearn to help people live a healthier life. Running may be a hobby of mine, but the main reason I do it is to inspire people to chase a crazy dream, live life to the fullest, and remember to have fun in the process.

Up Close, and Personal…

To me, sport is…

“how I live healthily and enjoy life to the fullest.”

On a typical training day,

I do: Sleep, run, work, play with my dog, and cook amazing dinner for my family.

I eat: plant-base meals that are mainly homemade.

I wear: outdoorsy outfits.

I listen to: podcast or business books; sometimes music.

I recover by: rolling out and stretching.

I cross-train by: going to the gym and lifting.

My idea of an effective weight training session is…

where I work my hole body and also challenging it differently to building a solid running foundation.

The moment when I discovered my athletic potential was…

when I was 10 years old and was an competitive ski racer.

The three biggest lessons I have learnt so far in my athletic career are…

1. enjoy the process
2. enjoy the failures
3. most importantly, have fun! Don’t’ take it to seriously

Before a big race,

“I’m ready and have gotten my self to the start line, not it’s time to have fun!”

The toughest race of my life was…

UTMB CCC so far.

The most memorable moment of my sporting career so far…

failing to complete UTMB CCC and coming off that race to have an amazing fall with few wins + CR.

My training sanctuary…

Tahoe mountains.

My dream starting line is…

In the alps with a massive crowd cheering you on.

I nourish my soul with adventuring…

Love, enjoying live to it’s fullest, and experience new places.

Unived helps me by…

To finally feel good after 5+ hours of running and not have gut problems.

I have chosen to associate with Unived because…

One, it’s been the only product that has work with my gut. But two, love they are supporting the plant-base mission.

In 2020, I am setting my sights on…

Tentative Schedule:
1. Way To Cool 50K (March)
2. Lake Sonoma 50 Miler (April)
3. 30-50K in (May … TBD)
4. lavaredo 126K (June)
5. SpeedGoat 50K (July / TBD)
6. UTMB CCC 100K (August)
7. TNF 50 Marin (Nov)

My favourite Unived product is…

The Elite Drink Mix.
